Rick Engineering Company's Tucson Office has the following position open:

SURVEYOR ASSISTANT

Tucson Candidate must have 1 year of technical survey training, plus 1 year of experience or equivalent work experience of 2 years. That experience must include construction staking such as: grade staking, underground utilities, surface improvements; engineering design surveys, traverse, aerial control surveys & boundary surveys. Must be able to perform basic survey calculations using programmable calculators and field data collectors. Must be familiar with use and maintenance of conventional survey equipment including Total Stations, data collectors and GPS RTK systems.

Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 to 10 hours per day and swing an 8 lb. sledge-hammer.

Candidate must be dependable and display the ability to work well with others as they will be on a survey team. LSIT or the ability to obtain within 1 year a consideration. Good driving record is a must. (Job #A-399)
