Assistant Survey Analyst (#CO-040)Denver, CO

Candidate should have experience preparing boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, As-built surveys, subdivision maps and other survey drawings as well as experience with local jurisdiction submittal and review processes. Proficiency in Civil 3D is required.

PLS or LSI is required, candidates approved by D.O.R.A. to take the LSI exam or have an A.S. in surveying or civil engineering plus 4 years of land development experience is an acceptable substitute for the licensure requirement. That experience must include reduction of field survey notes, reading, analyzing and preparing legal descriptions, field survey and subdivision calculations.

The following items are a plus:

Experience performing field work and post processing for 3D laser scanning (terrestrial LiDAR) a plus.  Previous supervisory experience, GPS experience (Trimble preferred), Familiarity with Trimble Business Center software.

Principal Project Engineer/Manager (#CO-039)Denver, CO

Qualified candidate shall have a BSCE degree, Colorado Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, (or ability to obtain in next 6 months), plus a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience or the equivalent work experience of twelve years in this industry.  A minimum of three years management experience supervising the work of technical staff.

Candidate for this position must demonstrate strong independent thought and decision-making abilities; possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills; exhibit management ability; be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients/public-agency personnel and in-house staff.

Candidate’s managerial experience shall also include the following:

Management of construction bid documents and contracts; management of construction support and field coordination; management of project schedules and budgets; preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.

Candidate’s technical experience must include the following:

the ability to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment and consideration of site constraints, infrastructure requirements, and potential regulatory issues); preparation/processing of regulatory plans; preparation/processing of public improvement plans (private and public); the ability to perform constructability reviews, and experience in a range of construction support services.

Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in the State of Colorado is a plus.

AutoCad/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD experience is required.

Candidate will have a BSCE, Colorado PE Registration, plus a minimum of five (5) years of public works experience or the equivalent of ten (10) years of total work experience.

Candidate will be in responsible charge of project designs including preparation of plans, technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates.  Required design experience includes municipal streets, drainage systems, water mains, sanitary sewers, ADA-compliant sidewalks, and other municipal infrastructure projects.
