Another year, another successful Shadow Day! Created by Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA), Shadow Day “matches students with employers to gain insight into technical careers”. During Shadow Day, RICK was joined by 12 students and with a full day’s itinerary, the student group hopped from presentation to presentation. RICK’s Community Planning and Landscape Architecture, 3D Laser Scanning, GIS, Surveying, Topography and Aerial Drone, Public Works, Civil Engineering, and Transportation Teams each facilitated a presentation for the youngsters.
Each presentation provided an opportunity for the shadowers to observe and network with professionals, explore a career field, and function within a work environment!
