RICK provided as-needed traffic engineering services for the City of Vista, including traffic engineering plan-checking services as the Contract Traffic Engineer alongside the City Hall staff one day a week. Tasks included the review of signing and striping plans, traffic control plans, signal plans, and corridor timings. Additional tasks included the review of site plans and access points as part of development plan submittals to verify site access, safety, sight distance, and on-site circulation. RICK also assisted with the development of the City’s Traffic Signal Installation Design Guidelines and Traffic General Notes (signals and signing/striping).
