RICK provided civil engineering and surveying for various single-family subdivisions for Desert Mountain Properties, totaling 288 units of 542 acres within this unique gated community in the upper desert of north Scottsdale. Close coordination with the owner and project architect was required throughout the preliminary and final design process to facilitate a subdivision design that minimized impact to the desert while maximizing the value of these one-acre-minimum custom lots.
Engineering design considerations included HEC-1 and HEC-2 analysis of the Vista Corridor Wash, scour analysis, Army Corps of Engineers jurisdictional wash impacts and permitting, and close coordination with other civil engineers and surveyors providing similar services for Desert Mountain Properties.
