Project Description
This intersection improvement project involves the survey, traffic analysis, design, and preparation of plans, bid/contract documents, specifications, and cost estimate for two major intersections in the City of Casa Grande: Florence Boulevard/Trekell Road and Florence Boulevard/Arizola Road. In addition to the analysis and design of geometric and traffic signal improvements at the two intersections, the project also involves the design and layout of a “road diet,” including a restriping of Trekell Road from Florence Boulevard south to Doan Street. RICK provided a traffic operation analysis and geometric layout for the two intersections. In addition, traffic signal design, intersection lighting, signing, pavement markings, and traffic control designs for both intersections are being provided.
