Project Description
RICK was retained by Friedmutter Group to provide civil engineering services for Harrah’s Rincon Casino Tower and Ballroom Expansion project in the area of Valley Center. The project consists of providing site design in support of the new 21-story tower expansion, ballroom/ event center expansion, lazy river addition, 5-acre parking lot expansion, and site access realignment.
Work included the design of a new site storm drain system to alleviate surface drainage concerns, significant sub-surface utility and access road relocations and realignments to accommodate the building and lazy river expansions, and surface improvement design to support landscape and hardscape additions and modifications throughout the existing site. The civil site plans included design of the ADA pathways, raised landscape planters, decorative screen walls, loading dock facilities, parking lot expansions and modifications, and all surface hardscape and landscaping drainage systems.
