Project Description
RICK provided design and construction administration services for the McBean Bus Stop project. The project was a part of the Conditions of Approval for the Westfield Valencia Town Center Expansion Project. RICK was contracted in August 2007 to provide civil engineering documents for the expansion of the Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, CA. The project was overseen by Westfield Corporation and expanded the current mall building with 10 new buildings clustered in a “lifestyles” outdoor plaza concept.
The McBean Bus Stop project included topographic survey, street widening plan, and profile design that included a bus turnout, structural and architectural coordination, and solar electrical lighting and processing through the City of Santa Clarita. A stylized bus shelter designed by Westfield was integrated into the design.
