Project Description
Otay Ranch is a 5,300-acre master-planned community with 3,400 homes in Chula Vista. The Lomas Verde and Vista Verde communities included three school sites, a church site, parks, and a mixed-use commercial development. Project infrastructure included the design of more than 15 miles of streets, a mass transit corridor, improvement of the SR-125/Birch Road interchange and the re-creation of an ephemeral stream. Millenia is a 200-acre urban center in Otay Ranch that includes enhanced streetscape components and bio-retention facilities. This development achieved certification under the United States Green Building Council LEEDND (Neighborhood Development) Program and the 2017 ACEC California Commendation Award.
