Project Description
RICK was brought on board by client Canigou Capital to create a 3-D model reflecting the impact a solar farm would have on the surrounding area and to the tribal residents that live nearby. Our team built a very detailed model of all the surrounding mountains and terrain with the solar farm panels, associated equipment, and buildings to service the farm. While attending community meetings to show the tribe and surrounding community what the project will look like, the Tribal Chairman and our client asked Team RICK to move the model around and show views from the homes of different tribal members in attendance at the meeting. This very detailed model enabled us to show what will be visible from different locations. RICK has also created a video from the model that reflects the views of driving 60 miles per hour down the highway, which shows what impact the solar farm will have to people passing through the area. This tool has been very beneficial in showing the impact of this project to the community.
