Project Description
RICK provided preliminary and final traffic design documents for a new median crossover on US-93 at Milepost 125. The new crossover was for an existing driveway access point that serves a number of properties, including cattle ranch truck traffic, and mitigates the safety issues caused by vehicles illegally crossing the median. Traffic alternatives analyzed included several geometric intersection layouts, protected left- and right-turn deceleration lanes, an acceleration lane, and various signing and striping options.
