Project Description
Following a major realignment of Tangerine Road as it winds west of the I-10 freeway, a new commercial/industrial subdivision was platted to offer development options for businesses that saw a great benefit from the location next to the freeway and outside of the major congestion of the areas closer into the greater Tucson area. Ventana Logistics, a member of the Roche Group, became the first development in the subdivision with a new 60,000-sf logistics center providing the ability for goods to be transferred from the large trucks utilizing the freeway to smaller trucks that will then distribute the goods to the various Roche facilities within the region. The operation proved so successful that a second 60,000-sf building was recently added immediately east of the first building.
