Project Description
RICK was awarded the Downtown Streetscape Improvements Phase II project by the City of Winters. The intent was to restore and improve the aesthetic character, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and connectivity in the City of Winter’s historic downtown. RICK provided design and planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the multi-phased redevelopment program that included streetscape, crosswalks, and bulb-outs with enhanced brick paving to match many of the beautiful historic brick buildings in the downtown area.
Also included were pedestrian public realm improvements, such as street trees in tree grates, community furnishings, bollards, historic acorn streetlights, bike racks, seat walls, and pilasters.
